("Company", "we", "us", or "our") governing your use of the EraseVideo macOS application and website (collectively, the "Service").
By downloading, installing, or using EraseVideo, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Service.
Eligibility and License Grant

You must be at least 18 years of age to use EraseVideo. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
- Download and install EraseVideo on up to 2 macOS devices (per license)
- Use the software for your personal or commercial video editing purposes
- Process video content for which you have legal rights or authorization
This license does NOT permit you to:

- ❌ Distribute, resell, or sublicense the software
- ❌ Remove or modify any proprietary notices or labels
- ❌ Use the software to violate any applicable laws or third-party rights

- Reserve the right to terminate licenses of users engaged in illegal activities
By using EraseVideo, you indemnify and hold harmless FloatingLight Ltd. from any claims, damages, or legal actions arising from your use of the software.
Intellectual Property Rights
Ownership
EraseVideo, including all software code, algorithms, user interface design, documentation, and related materials, is the exclusive property of FloatingLight Ltd. and is protected by:
- Copyright law
- Trade secret law
- International intellectual property treaties
You acknowledge that purchasing a license grants you a right to use the software, not ownership of the underlying intellectual property.
User Content
- You retain all rights to video content you process using EraseVideo
- We do NOT claim any ownership over your video files or processed outputs
- Your video content is never uploaded, stored, or transmitted - all processing is local
Pricing, Payments, and Refunds
Payment Terms
- All prices are listed in USD and processed through Stripe
- You agree to pay all fees associated with your selected plan
- Payment must be made in full before license activation
Plan Types
- FREE Plan: Limited features, no payment required
- 1 YEAR Subscription: $29.99/year, auto-renews annually unless cancelled
- LIFETIME Plan: $49.99 one-time payment, permanent license
Subscription Management
- Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period
- You can cancel auto-renewal at any time before the next billing date
- Upon cancellation, you retain access until the current billing period ends
- No pro-rated refunds for mid-cycle cancellations
Refund Policy
- 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee: You may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase
- Refunds are processed at our discretion beyond the 7-day window

- Lifetime licenses that have been used extensively may not qualify for refunds
License Activation and Device Management
Activation Limits
- Each license permits activation on up to 2 devices simultaneously
- A "device" is a unique macOS computer identified by hardware fingerprint
- You can manage active devices through the app's license management interface
Device Changes
- You may deactivate a device to free up an activation slot
- Deactivation can be done from within the app or by contacting support
- Frequent activation/deactivation cycles may be flagged as suspicious activity
License Revocation
We reserve the right to revoke licenses if:
- License keys are shared publicly or sold to third parties
- Unusual activation patterns suggest fraudulent use
- The license was obtained through unauthorized means
- These Terms are violated
User Conduct and Prohibited Activities
You agree NOT to:

Updates
- We may periodically release updates to improve functionality, fix bugs, or enhance security
- Updates may be delivered automatically or require manual installation

No Guaranteed Support
- We strive to maintain and improve EraseVideo, but do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted availability
- Error-free operation
- Compatibility with all macOS versions
- Ongoing feature development
End of Support
We reserve the right to discontinue EraseVideo or end support for older versions at any time. Active subscribers will receive reasonable notice before service termination.
Disclaimer of Warranties
ERASEVIDEO IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to:

Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FloatingLight Ltd., its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents SHALL NOT BE LIABLE for:

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations on liability. If you reside in such a jurisdiction, some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FloatingLight Ltd. and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any and all:
- Claims, lawsuits, or legal actions
- Damages, losses, or liabilities
- Costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees)
Arising from or related to:
- Your use or misuse of EraseVideo
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your infringement of any third-party rights (including intellectual property or privacy rights)
- Your violation of any applicable laws or regulations
Termination
Termination by You
You may stop using EraseVideo at any time. To fully terminate your account, contact support@erasevideo.app.
Termination by Us
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your license and access to EraseVideo immediately, without notice, if:
- You breach any provision of these Terms
- We suspect fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
- We cease offering the Service
- Required by law or legal process
Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your license to use EraseVideo is immediately revoked
- You must cease all use and uninstall the software
- No refunds will be issued for terminations due to Terms violations
- Sections that by their nature should survive (e.g., Indemnification, Limitation of Liability) remain in effect
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which FloatingLight Ltd. is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Dispute Resolution
Informal Resolution: Before initiating formal proceedings, you agree to contact us at support@erasevideo.app to attempt to resolve disputes informally.
Arbitration Agreement: If informal resolution fails, you agree that any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration rather than in court, except for:
- Small claims court actions (if within jurisdictional limits)
- Claims seeking injunctive relief
- Intellectual property disputes
Class Action Waiver: You agree to pursue claims individually and not as part of any class action, consolidated action, or representative proceeding.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon:
- Posting the updated Terms on our website
- Updating the "Last Updated" date
- Notifying active users via email (for material changes)
Your continued use of EraseVideo after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to modified Terms, you must stop using the Service.
General Provisions
